The Bernadett Family International Medical Student Scholarship Program supports two US and Canadian medical students annually to complete a research project in medical humanities in the UK. The award covers expenses related to travel and accommodation during a 4 weeks period.

Bean Award

Molina Family Foundation Osler Library Medical Student Research Awards

The Osler Library selects two to three medical students each year to pursue a full‑time summer research award in the humanities, drawing on the Library’s exceptional historical and cultural collections. Supported by dedicated mentorship, participants investigate themes in medical history, ethics, and the social dimensions of medicine. Award recipients present their work during Osler Week in November, with opportunities for publication available.

The Pam and Rolando Del Maestro Family William Osler Medical Student Essay Awards

The Osler Library hosts an annual essay contest open to all medical students at McGill University, which allows participants to explore various facets on history, ethics, or social studies of health. Mentorship and publication opportunities are available. Participants will be invited to present their work during a local conference in November, during the Osler Week. Prices will be awarded to the top three best essays.
